Product Description
Polyester filter bags are the most common type of industrial filter bags, made from needle-punched nonwoven fabric. Short fibers are laid into a web, reinforced with barbed needles, and repeatedly needle-punched to form a dense, smooth, and highly breathable structure. The permeability of polyester filter bags is over 50% higher than conventional calendered fabrics, offering low resistance and high-efficiency filtration for industrial dust collection systems.
Working Principle
Polyester filter bags utilize depth filtration technology. Initially, some dust may pass through the filter media. As a dust cake forms, filtration efficiency improves significantly. Over time, dust penetrates the media, increasing differential pressure until the filter bag requires replacement.
Features of PET Needle-Punched Nonwoven Fabric
- High Filtration Efficiency: Captures fine dust and particulate matter effectively.
- Durability and Strength: Tear-resistant and wear-resistant, extending service life.
- Chemical and Solvent Resistance: Suitable for various acidic, alkaline, and solvent environments.
- Thermal Stability: Effective operation up to approximately 130°C (266℉).
- Moisture Resistance & Cleanability: Performs well in humid conditions and can be washed and reused multiple times.
Our technical support
- Increases system filtration capacity by 50–150% without major modifications to the dust collector.
- Optimized bag spacing significantly improves cleaning efficiency.
- Reduces fatigue damage from bag-cage collisions, extending filter bag life.
Post-Treatment & Customization
Depending on operating conditions, the following post-treatments are available:
- Anti-static (linear, cross, hybrid types)
- Spark-resistant
- Water & oil repellent
- Abrasion-resistant (acrylic coating)
- PTFE membrane
- PTFE impregnation
