PTFE-Coated Fiberglass Sewing Thread
Core Material Properties
- Thermal Shielding: Composed of high-purity silica/silicates. It is inherently non-combustible and does not support flame propagation.
- Friction & Flex Life Optimization: Uniformly coated with 10%–25% premium PTFE. Eliminates the traditional fragility of raw glass filaments, ensuring seamless high-speed machine stitching.
- Geometric Adaptability: Offers vastly superior flexibility and formability compared to stainless steel wire, allowing smooth assembly of complex, custom-shaped removable thermal covers.
Target Applications
- Removable insulation blankets, custom thermal jackets, and pipe wrapping.
- High-temperature protective garments, fire curtains, safety welding blankets, and fire hoses.
- High-temperature baghouse dust collectors and liquid/air industrial filters.

Aramid Specialty Thread

Core Material Properties
- Permanent Thermal Stability: Features a slightly negative axial thermal expansion coefficient, ensuring stitches remain tight, un-shrunk, and completely secure under prolonged flue gas exposure up to 200–260°C.
- Critical Life Protection: Will not melt or yield hazardous molten droplets during thermal failure. Does not emit toxic off-gases. Carbonized surface thickens under flame to maximize structural seam integrity.
- Impact Resistance: Highly rugged structural integrity with high modulus and low elongation at break. Prevents catastrophic failures under sudden high-velocity impact loads.
Target Applications
- Firefighter turnout gear, electric arc flash suits, welding gear, and metallurgical workwear.
- Ballistic vests, hard tactical helmet linings, and high-velocity fragmentation shields.
- Cement plant and steel mill baghouse filtration, flight suits, and parachute cord structural reinforcements.
